How we do research
Five steps, repeated every season, with feedback at every boundary. The loop is the product.
Frame the problem with agronomists
Every project starts in the field with a precise question — and with the people who grow the crops. If it does not matter to a farmer, we do not build it.
Collect ground truth, at scale
Models are only as honest as the data they learn from. We collect labelled field data through structured protocols, season after season.
Build, measure, iterate
We train and benchmark models against real performance targets — not leaderboards — and hold every result to statistical scrutiny.
Deploy with feedback loops
Field deployments are experiments with consequences. Every deployment feeds observations back into the research cycle.
Publish and share
Science compounds when it is shared. We publish our findings, release datasets where possible, and engage the wider research community.
